Buck Owens Crystal Palace is a music hall in Bakersfield, named after its founder and today is home of the Buck Owens Museum, dedicated to his career. The Crystal Palace was built in the Western Revival style, which is reminiscent of buildings from the American Old West in the 19th century. The interior design is inspired by a 19th-century American western town. It was opened in 1946. and was a performance venue for country western music, although other music genres were played here as well. Today it serves as a nightclub, bar, restaurant, and museum in addition to being a concert hall.
