Oleander Avenue, Bakersfield, California
The Oleander-Sunset neighborhood is located in central Bakersfield and sits on the southern end of downtown Bakersfield. The Lowell Community and the Oleander Community are the two neighborhoods that make up the Oleander-Sunset Area. California Avenue, Union Avenue, Highway 58, and Highway 99 run through Oleander-Sunset. There are some interesting places to visit (Lowell Park, Beale Park), as well as some standard fast-food outlets like 7-Eleven, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, and Starbucks.
