California State University is a public university in Bakersfield. It was established in 1965. There are four groups of school programs: School of Arts and Humanities, School of Business and Public Administration, School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering, and the School of Social Sciences and Education. The university offers 39 different bachelor’s degrees and 17 types of master’s degrees. The university also offers a doctoral program in educational leadership. The college motto is “Inspiring Excellence, Transforming Lives”. College sports teams are called Roadrunners and college colors are blue and gold. Currently, it has around 12000 students enrolled.
