Bakersfield High School (BHS) is a four-year public high school located on G Street. It was founded in 1893 and currently serves grades 9 through 12 in the Kern High School District. School’s colors are blue and white and the sports team’s name is the Drillers. Larry Barnes, Robert Duncan, Kevin McCarthy, Steve Ontiveros, and others are among the prominent graduates of this school. The school has more than 2900 students.
